Experts from the International Health and Science Foundation have been invited to participate in a ASPOR ( Romanian Association for Osteoporosis Prevention) conference, organized in Bucharest.

On 19.10.2012 there was a lecture on the role of vitamin K2 in the prevention and treatment of osteoporosis – Vitamin K2 – The New Essential Nutrient that Prevent Osteoporosis. Some parts of the lecture and talk with a representative of the member of the Foundation : Dr. Katarzyna Maresz were broadcast by Romanian television.

Woman is obviously pregnant. Her belly is growing, and with it changes her appearance, her approach to herself and the world, moods, habits, and needs. Everyone knows and accepts the future mother and her feelings. And what about the man? Man in pregnancy – is it possible ?

Even in ancient times the couvade syndrome ( couvade ) was known, the co-occurrence of symptoms of pregnancy in both women and men. It turns out that men who are about to become fathers may feel almost all the pregnancy symptoms : nausea, insomnia, increased appetite, hormonal swings and weight gain. The phenomenon of couvade syndrome can affect as many as two of three men, usually occurs in very light form, and all its symptoms disappear after the birth of the child.

The issue of pregnant dad was discussed with Monika Szostek Kwapień – mum of 5-year old Hania, editor and co-founder of the projects for parents – ciążowy.pl and urlopojcowski.info and Tomasz Tybon – dad of 2 -year-old Aleksander, an active supporter of parenting fathers.

Agnieszka Koziol – Kozakowska, owner of Nutri Centre – a specialist in nutrition and dietetics, will support the Ciążowy.pl as well as other Foundation’s projects related to healthy nutrition.

Nutri Center – Center for Nutrition and Nutritional Counseling deals with:

• organization of trainings, courses and conferences of a dietetic – medical topics;
• provides scientific support for nutritionists and physicians involved with dietary counseling ;
• prepares menus for institutional kitchens and diet catering;
• cooperates with various research centers and associations;
• takes part in scientific conferences;
• provides trainings.
